Overall, I would not recommend this Fish Fry.

Comment: I drove into the parking lot of PinSocial for an employee appreciation event to the tune of tornado sirens blaring. The sky was ominous making it as foreboding a start to a Fish Fry as I’ve ever experienced, but like the Bishop, we played through.
Luckily for all the employees who showed up, the warnings were just that and the funnel clouds stayed at bay. We enjoyed trivia, camaraderie, and snacks, and once the party wrapped I made my way to the 19th hole (along with my $50 gift card) for a nightcap of cod and fries.
The fish at PS is panko-crusted and actually pretty decent. It was well-fried and virtually grease-free, but would have benefited from another stoke or two of salt. It was very light which made the thick tartar feel all the more forceful. A smattering or battered fries were also par for the course and certainly nothing to complain about.
Finishing out the round was a vibrant and tangy slaw and a couple wedges of lime (yes lime). Where they got the idea to use the green citrus in lieu of the typical lemons I have no idea, but it was the first time I’ve seen that one in the old range finder, that’s for sure.
It would be hard for any Fish Fry to follow the absolutely impeccable lunch I experienced out in Dane earlier in the day, but PinSocial put in a fine round all things considered. While it didn’t blow me away, neither did a tornado so we’ll chalk it up as a win.pinsocial.com/deforest/
